We have decided to establish The Dutch Mountains in the railway zone of Eindhoven. The municipality of Eindhoven wants to focus fully on the transformation of the station area into a vibrant urban and green environment. These ambitious plans are part of the Brainport City program. With this program, the Eindhoven region wants to strengthen its position as one of the smartest regions in the world. The focal point of Brainport City is the International Knoop XL, the area around the station and the TU / e campus in Eindhoven.
The Dutch Mountains fits seamlessly with the ambitions of the municipality of Eindhoven. That is why we decided, together with the municipality of Eindhoven, to investigate the feasibility of The Dutch Mountains at this new location. With an iconic design and tailor-made program, we want to create added value for the station area, the city of
Eindhoven and the Brainport region.
The Dutch Mountains stands for green, happy and smart life. We want to surprise the world with the realization of a highly inspiring, healthy, circular and interactive environment. With an interesting mix of users, functions and activities. Working, staying and meeting are done side by side and with each other. In an environment full of high-tech innovations that the region is known for.
The location we previously studied along the A2 in Veldhoven is no longer available to us. The municipality of Veldhoven wants to use the site for the rapid growth and accessibility of ASML. At the same time we see the ambitions for the station area in Eindhoven as a unique opportunity to make The Dutch Mountains quicker. At the start of 2019 we will announce more about this new location in the heart of the Brainport!
