REGION OF THE FUTURE SOUTH HOLLAND

Towards a circular building economy

Zuid-Houtland shows the contribution that the South Holland and national housing assignment can make to climate objectives by replacing conventional building materials with biobased materials such as wood. Research is being carried out into how existing and new forests in the Netherlands can supply building materials on the basis of sustainable forestry and at the same time landscape, ecological, cultural-historical and recreational added value is created.
