The landscape artwork is located precisely at the intersection of the Green Corridor and the approach route to Eindhoven Airport. This bench encourages reflection on our desire to travel far while reminding us of the beauty our own landscape offers. It also marks the entrance to the future BIC campus.

The Aviation Observation Bench is a piece of furniture that slowly transitions from a sitting bench to a reclining one and back again. This design allows for various sitting and lying positions, providing different perspectives on the environment and the sky. Every ten minutes, a low-flying airplane creates a strong sound wave, enhancing the experience. Passersby can pause and study the landscape. The center of the circle is off-limits, allowing nature to thrive.
The bench is made up of nearly 1,500 slats crafted from KLP, a material made from recycled plastic. The names of all the sponsors who made the bench possible are engraved in the slats, alongside a contribution from the Regio Deal Brainport Eindhoven.
