The Foundation Streekrekening Het Groene Woud has as its main objective the preservation of agricultural activities within the region Het Groene Woud (area between 's-Hertogenbosch, Eindhoven and Tilburg). At the same time they strive to improve the spatial and scenic qualities of the area. The Foundation called upon farmers who have distinct plans for broadening their agricultural activities. They have selected three initiatives which will become predecessors for other farmers in the area. The Streekrekening has asked SMV to make sketch designs for all three initiatives, being: the realisation a family hotel in a former stable, an information centre and a new (educational) stable for 70 cows. The goal is to realize these projects at the end of 2010.
